That's it is my dear friends, I am leaving, I packed a suitcase with my most photogenic items I have in my closet and am taking my daughter for 6 days to magical Barcelona, or I should say, she's taking me …. Let me explain …

Last May, Maya celebrated her Bat Mitzvah, and since I have a terrible fear of organizing parties and a distaste for the various Bat Mitzvah events, especially those who turn the kid into a princess, I convinced her to choose a trip overseas for a few days, a trip that will include VIP tickets to her favorite singer- Beyonce!  To my huge surprise, She agreed.

What I didn't know at the time, was that this trip would arrive just in time saving me a moment before I sank into a deep depression as a result of a minor crisis regarding my professional future, not to mention the hamsin that's attacking us for the last few days and made every visit outside the home – a nightmare.

So why crisis? Because I was sure that six years from the day I opened the blog I would be somewhere else, a place that would appreciate my work and allow me to make a decent living, let alone align with the rest of the world who has long understood the value of blogging.

Unfortunately here the wheels are moving in the right direction but not at the right pace, and now I am at the point that really shakes my belief in what I do.

I decided that I would devote the next six days in Barcelona to recalebrate.
Hopefully I will come back with insights that will help me take my passion and love to where I want to be.

In the meantime, I took advantage of this last weekend for a short photo shoot at the port with my favorite new denim dress .
