Hi Guys, how are you?
Planning a vacation with your family, partner or one with friends soon?
Great! But, if your destination is not Ibiza – Cancel immediately and change your plans to visit the island!
We came back from Ibiza a week ago, it was my first time on the island (Assi) and my fourth time (Albert) and after visiting this magical paradise for two nights, we decided we had to go back for a longer period of time. We enjoyed it that much!
Why? Lets start:
1. Because there's something for everyone. Want parties? Ibiza has the best parties with the best DJs in the world.
2. Want to lean back and relax in the sun (like us)? No problem!
3. Looking for beaches with transparent water and perfect white sand?. It's here!
4. Great food? Check!.
5. Breathtaking sunsets accompanied by colors you only see in romantic films? Here!!!
In short, it's Thailand like, just close to home.
Where to sleep in Ibiza?
Assi: We went to Ibiza to celebrate my niece Maya's bat mitzvah. After we surprised her in Barcelona with tickets for the Beyonce and Jay-Z concert, we also surprised her with two nights in Ibiza.
The hotel, chosen for us by Cava Group (a service of the highest quality lifestyle assistants) is Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay:
The hotel has two stunning pools, each of which is spectacular and of course, the beach is a just few steps away.
Important tip: The hotel offers a round trip airport shuttle for your convenience.
Of course, everything you see here was organized by the Cava Group, and throughout our stay in Spain we had direct contact (with the charming Olga) who helped us via whatsapp with everything we needed.
Asi: Let me take the opportunity to tell you that on the way from the hotel to the airport I found I had forgotten my cell phone in the hotel shuttle, and so as not to get into hysterics I immediately sent a message to Olga, she immediately contacted the driver who returned the iPhone within minutes!

Where to eat?
The hotel itself, as we said, has 4 restaurants, the most famous one is the Japanese Nobu restaurant (owned by Robert De Niro).
Asi: In my books, I ranks it with one of the highest scores possible! For appetizers we ordered Japanese tacos, and I personally love tacos, all shapes and flavors so I ordered every type: tuna, salmon, Lobster (Albert: my favorite), beef and vegetarian (which was a bit spicy). Everything was tasty and delicious.
Albert: In addition, we ordered spinach salad with truffle oil that was simply amazing, and for the main courses, I ordered the cod fish for Asi that was incredible, and for myself I ordered steamed fish wrapped in baking paper -Still roasted in, while being served.
The nearby Mexican restaurant is also excellent – where we again recommend you go for tacos (this time Mexican tacos) with fish or meat that comes to the table wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves – deliciously delicious!
In conclusion: tasty food – there is plenty of, everything is tasty and fresh, and what about the prices? It's safe to say not cheap, but worth it.
This restaurant was recommend to us by "Cava Group" and what a great recommendation it was, because this restaurant completely meets the high standard of Ibiza. It sits right on the harbor, which overlooks a beautiful view.
What to eat here? – Start like us with a jug of sangria that quickly goes to your head.
For the starter – Fish carpaccio and the famous tomato bread – A must.
For the main course we ordered the fish, I (Albert) ordered the fish of the day , which was very tasty and I (Assi) ordered the best fish I have ever eaten in Spain so far – "Grill Sula".
Where to travel?
Only a 10 minute drive from the hotel will bring you to the Old City – a stunningly beautiful area. Make your way up the stairs into the city where you will find lots of restaurants, cafes, excellent ice-cream shops and more …
Of course, while walking around, we recommend to get lost among the old alleys, to see the older residents sitting outside their houses, playing their guitars for pleasure while the children play outside with a ball, like in the old days. so much beauty in one place – just like a movie.
When you leave the Old City, look for the "Amorano" Ice-Cream made in the shape of a flower, each "leaf" can be of a different flavor (of your choice). My niece Maya enjoyed the ice cream almost as much as she enjoyed Beyonce.
Formantera:
You can not get to Ibiza without making a trip to the island of "Formantra" – if you have not heard about it until today, then the time has come.
One of the most beautiful places Ibiza has to offer, and Spain in general – the island is known as a relatively peaceful island, full of sun and sunbathing and less of parties and noise, so if you want to relax properly – this is the place.
The beaches are all white like you see in the movies, a little reminiscent of Thailand just much quieter. On the island you can rent motorcycles / cars / bicycles for your convenience.
On the beach they sell freshly cut fruit on the spot, the girls tan without tops, with a horizon full of yachts owned by all the millionaires who come to show them off (and if you look sideways, do not be surprised if you see familiar faces, the island is full of top celebs).
So we arrived to the island in the morning and went back to Ibiza in the afternoon, which is an easy option, but remember to bring your towels.
So how do you get here? The simplest way – a ferry. Tickets can be purchased either online or on-site, the ferries depart approximately every half hour to the island and back again from the island, and you can choose between the slow ferry (20 Euros and 1 hour cruise) to the express ferry (40 Euros and a half hour cruise).
More information and tickets are available through this link.
Come on guys, instead of wasting time reading posts, run and book tickets to Ibiza !! With Love, Assi and Albert.
